The Horizon looks bleak

Has your business hit a trough? Two things to do: 1. Don’t despair, use the time to analyze how you can get new business now. 2. Look at the history of your prospecting. You may find a month in the near past that was also at an all time low. To fill the time, look for smaller projects to fill the gaps, nurture referrals, and thank your existing customers. These small steps may lead to a smoother business cycle in the future.

You are the Name Brand

Most sales people think they either sell a product or a service. Astute ones realize they only sell themselves. People will try your wares the first time because of the reputation you’ve built with them. Always be thinking of ways you can further your name recognition positively in your community. This is brand awareness.

Phone Presence Counts

When talking on the phone, smile, have energy in your voice and add a positive attitude. People will want to talk to you in the future.
